Sora Beach
Sora Beach, with its certified clean bathing water, is undoubtedly one of the greatest potentials for tourism development in Medvode.
Located by the dam on the Sora River in Goričane, the beach area has become a popular spot. To ensure safety, the National Laboratory for Health, Environment and Food conducts water quality measurements at the beginning of each swimming season, consistently confirming its suitability for swimming. Although the area around the dam and the beach changed slightly due to restoration work following the floods in August 2023, it remains a wonderful place for pleasant gatherings and peaceful relaxation by the Sora River.
