Castle pot
The Old Castle in Smlednik offers the perfect scenery for the Castle pot cooking competition organised by the Smlednik Tourism Society. The event brings new life to the Old Castle, while the visitors learn about history and life in medieval castles. The cooking of the Castle pot, usually by the three nearby tourism societies, also has a competitive nature. Visitors decide who prepared the best Castle pot. Every year, a castle treasure hunt is also organised for families with children. The hunt leads them across the slopes of Old Castle hill and includes sports activities and tests for children and parents.
