Blessing of Horses
Every year on St. Stephen’s Day – 26 December – there is a 10 AM mass at the Church of St. Jacob in Hraše. After the mass, which includes the blessing of salt ritual, the blessing of horses is performed in front of the church, leading to relaxed socialisation with a glass of tea or mulled wine. The event is attended by more and more visitors every year and shows that horse breeding is an important part of the tourist offer in the village.
